Included with every Templates.party product

Bring your templates into your AI

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client to the Templates.party MCP server. Your assistant can then read, customize and download the templates you bought, and walk you through publishing them.

Server URLhttps://mcp.templates.party/mcp
  • Unlocked by the license key in your Gumroad receipt
  • Access to everything you bought, nothing else
  • Never deploys or asks for hosting passwords

1. Find your license key

Every Templates.party product includes a license key that unlocks MCP access to everything you’ve bought. It’s shown on your purchase page and in your Gumroad receipt email, and you can find it again in your Gumroad library. It looks like XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX.

Own more than one product? Each purchase has its own key. Add them all on the sign-in page, or separate them with commas (KEY1,KEY2), and your assistant sees every template you own.

Bought before license keys were enabled? Your purchase has no key yet. Email support@templates.party with your Gumroad receipt and we’ll sort it out.

Right now there is one product in the catalog. See what’s available.

2. Connect your AI

Claude (web & desktop)Sign in with your license key
  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector (available on Claude plans that support custom connectors).
  2. Paste the server URL and add it:
https://mcp.templates.party/mcp
  1. Click Connect. A Templates.party page opens: paste your license key (add more keys if you own several products) and press Connect.
ChatGPTSign in with your license key
  1. Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT’s connector settings (available on plans that support custom MCP connectors).
  2. Create a connector with this URL and OAuth authentication:
https://mcp.templates.party/mcp
  1. When the Templates.party page opens, paste your license key and press Connect.
CursorConfig file or sign-in

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project), replacing the placeholder with your key:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "templates-party": {
      "url": "https://mcp.templates.party/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_LICENSE_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

Prefer not to store the key in a file? Leave out headers and Cursor will open the sign-in page instead.

Claude CodeOne command
claude mcp add --transport http templates-party https://mcp.templates.party/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_LICENSE_KEY"
VS Code (Copilot)Sign in with your license key

Add this to .vscode/mcp.json, start the server and complete the sign-in page with your key:

{
  "servers": {
    "templates-party": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.templates.party/mcp" }
  }
}
Other MCP clientsHeader or URL

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can connect. If it lets you set headers, send Authorization: Bearer YOUR_LICENSE_KEY. If it only accepts a URL, put the key in the URL:

https://mcp.templates.party/mcp?key=YOUR_LICENSE_KEY

A URL with ?key= works like a password. Don’t share it or paste it in public places.

3. Ask away

Try something like: “Using Templates.party, customize the restaurant template for La Brasa de Ana, phone +34 911 222 333, brand color #0E7490, and give me a ZIP.” These are the tools your assistant gets:
